The Seventh Dimension Project

This interactive art installation combines EEG technology with immersive design to explore mindfulness and inner reflection. Using MUSE headbands to monitor participants’ brain and body activity, the project generates personalized “fortune cookie” messages—short, uplifting prompts crafted to inspire calm and positivity. At the heart of the experience is a large paper lotus flower sculpture, serving both as a symbolic centerpiece and a canvas for projection mapping. The sculpture is nestled within a serene, immersive Zen garden made entirely of paper floral installations. Participants are invited to enter this meditative space, where they can sit or lie on soft pillows and choose between a guided meditation or a calming journey of ambient visuals and sounds. As they conclude their experience, participants receive a personalized message—generated from their real-time EEG data—delivered directly to their phone via NFC technology as they tap out of the space. This poetic data-driven message serves as a gentle reflection of their internal state and a final takeaway from the journey.
