Blossoming Paper Solo Exhibit

Immerse in DC's cultural tapestry with 10 hand-cut papercuttings on the history and tradition of the Cherry Blossom Festival and the friendship between United States and Japan, a colorful paper sculpture of DC landmarks, and 4 large 20 feet long Koi Fish streamers hanging down from skylight, inspired by the Japanese carp fish culture, celebrating Japanese culture. The cut out design allows light to create interesting shadows on the floor that keeps changing throughout the day.

The Solo Exhibit also features 12 pieces of handmade paper cuttings explaining the history and tradition of National Cherry Blossom Festival, the US-Japan friendship and the Japanese culture of Koi Fish Streamers.
